Troubleshooting
- The shortcut does not work. Another app may be using it. Choose a different combination in Settings; ShotShoot reports conflicts.
- Print Screen opens another tool. On Windows, Snipping Tool or other apps may take over Print Screen. ShotShoot's setup wizard helps you assign the key.
- Black or empty capture on macOS. Allow ShotShoot in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording, then restart the app.
- A window cannot be captured. Some protected or hardware-accelerated windows do not provide an image. Capture the visible screen area instead. Minimized windows are not captured.
- License error after a long time offline. Connect to the internet and restart the app to renew the permission.
